to help reduce and prevent pest populations in and around your
home or business

Proper Sanitation
Make sure to keep the kitchen area clean. Don’t let grease build up on the stove or counter tops. Don’t leave food crumbs on the floor or beside the refrigerator. Don’t leave dirty dishes in the sink overnight.

Food Storage
Make sure to keep your stock rotated. For example, allowing flour or other items to set in the cupboard for a long period of time can result in pantry pests. Keep pet food stored in sealed containers.

Mechanical Correction
Make sure to repair any leaking pipes, roof, or windows as small amounts of water can sustain pest populations. Install tight fitting door sweeps and weather strips. Make sure windows are caulked properly. Seal openings where utilities enter the structure.

Clean the gutters on a regular basis. Trim bushes and trees that are touching the structure as they allow rodents and insects access to your home. Remove any debris or wood piles that are near the structure and keep the grass mowed neatly. Don’t leave standing around the yard as this gives mosquitoes a place to lay their eggs and also provides a drinking source for other pests.
